Roger N Reckon Cancellation and Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy governs the cancellation of orders and services and the procedures for refunds related to products and services purchased from Roger N Reckon ("We," "Us," or "the Company"), including components, Custom PC Builds (BTO), DeepClean, Performance Test Pro (PTP), and Repair services.
1. General Principles
Item Condition Policy Refund Method: All refunds will be processed back and the amount credited back to the original payment method used for the purchase (or primary bank account) after deducting applicable charges and fees as detailed in this policy.
Processing Time Once approved, refunds typically take 7-14 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Non-Refundable Costs Original shipping charges, expedited service fees, and labor/diagnostic fees (where applicable) are non-refundable.
2. Custom PC Builds (BTO) & Pre-Built Systems
The policies for Custom PC Builds (Built-to-Order) are stricter due to the specialized nature of the order and the immediate procurement of components.
2.1. Cancellation Before Build Commences
Timeframe: You may cancel a Custom PC Build order within 12 hours of placing the order, provided component procurement has not yet begun.
Fee: A 5% Administrative Fee will be deducted from the total refund amount to cover transaction processing and handling costs.
Note: In case of a return/refund, we process the refund once the products have been received and verified at our location.
2.2. Cancellation After Component Procurement or During Assembly
Policy: Once the build process initiates, which includes the unsealing, allocation, and preparation of components for assembly (typically after the initial 12-hour grace period), the order is subject to a non-negotiable 45% Non-Refundable Minimum Charge (NRMC) of the total purchase price.
This charge is retained to offset the Company's immediate and unrecoverable expenditures. The 50% mandatory deposit for Custom PC Builds is implemented specifically to cover this NRMC in full.
Basis of Non-Refundable Minimum Charge (NRMC):
• Specific Inventory Acquisition: Costs incurred from the immediate, non-reversible purchasing of components unique to the custom order.
• Component Devaluation and Market Risk: Compensation for the diminished market value of components once factory packaging and seals are broken for the custom build.
• Dedicated Labor Commitment: Non-recoverable expenses for the specialized time and resources allocated by our technicians for initial configuration and assembly preparation.
Customer Refund: If the customer has paid the mandatory 50% deposit, the Company will refund the remaining 5% of the total purchase price to the customer. If the customer paid more than 50%, the remaining balance above the 45% NRMC will be refunded.
2.3. Returns and Refunds After Delivery (Custom PC Builds) Policy: Custom PC Builds are non-refundable and non-returnable once delivered, except in cases of Dead on Arrival (DOA) or major functional failure covered under the warranty. DOA/Functional Failure: If the system is non-functional upon arrival, you must report it within 7 days of delivery. We will arrange for collection, diagnosis, repair, or replacement at our discretion, as per the Warranty Policy. A refund will only be offered if the system cannot be repaired or replaced within a reasonable timeframe.
3. Service Appointments (DeepClean, Repair, PTP, Diagnostics)
This covers scheduled services performed at our location or via drop-off/pickup.
3.1. Cancellation of Appointment Full Refund: Appointments canceled more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled time will receive a full refund of any pre-paid service fees. Partial Refund/No-Show Fee: Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, or confirmed no-shows, will forfeit a flat rate Diagnostic Fee of ₹749 plus 18% GST (or the full service fee, whichever is lower) to cover the lost labor slot.
3.2. Refunds for Completed Services Diagnostic Fees: Diagnostic fees charged for identifying faults are non-refundable once the diagnosis is completed, regardless of whether you proceed with the repair. Labor Fees: Labor fees for a completed service (DeepClean, Repair) are non-refundable. Our services are covered by a limited labor warranty (details in the Warranty Policy). If a failure is determined to be due to faulty workmanship within the warranty period, we will re-perform the service or repair the defect at no additional cost.
3.3. Unrepairable Devices If we determine your device is unrepairable or if the repair cost exceeds the quoted amount and you decline the new quote, we will charge only the Diagnostic Fee, and any remaining pre-paid amounts will be refunded.
4. Component and Accessory Sales (Individual Purchases)
This applies to individual components, peripherals, and accessories purchased separately.
4.1. Returns of Unopened Items or Damaged due to Shipping Negligence Return Window: You may return unused and unopened components or accessories within 7 days of the delivery date. Condition: Items must be in their original, unopened factory packaging with all seals intact and in resellable condition. Refund: The purchase price will be fully refunded, minus the original shipping fees and a 5% Administrative Fee to cover transaction costs. Process: The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. For replacement, exchange of damaged items due to shipping negligence, we will process the exchange within 7 days of receiving the product, the replacement product will be delivered within 7-14 business days thereafter, if the same item is not available, a refund will be issued.
4.2. Returns of Components with Broken Seals/Void Stickers Policy: Any component or part returned with the factory seal or anti-tamper void sticker broken, removed, or compromised will be treated as devalued inventory and is subject to the Non-Refundable Minimum Charge (NRMC). Deductions and Refund: • Deduction: The refund amount will be calculated after deducting the 45% Non-Refundable Minimum Charge (NRMC) plus the original shipping fees. • Verification Requirement: All returned products with broken seals are subject to complete verification to ensure the following are intact for future warranty eligibility: o The manufacturer's serial number on the product must match the serial number on the original box/invoice. o The product must pass a physical inspection to confirm no signs of misuse or damage. o All internal warranty/void stickers or seals must be intact to ensure the integrity of the component for any potential future claims.

To request a cancellation, return, or refund, please follow these steps: • Contact Us: Send an email to sales@rogernreckon.in with the subject line: "Cancellation/Refund Request - [Your Order/Service Number]". • Provide Details: Include your full name, contact information, the Order/Service Number, and the reason for the cancellation or return. • Await Confirmation: We will review your request based on the policies outlined above and respond with approval, instructions (for returns), or denial within 3 business days.
